“When we are contemplating the universe, we are the universe contemplating itself, and that may be the most wondrous and extraordinarily profound aspect of our whole life.” Adyashanti in The Most Important Thing
When there are events like the Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse, the most extraordinary aspect of it is the way it can orient us back to the mystery of life, the awe and wonder of it all. It brings us back to question, What’s really going on here?
If you view the moon tonight, let the mystery of it all lead you into knowing that you really don’t know anything about the workings of the universe. No one does. And that’s perfectly okay. There is so much more going on than the mind could even comprehend. Just let it be what it is: amazing.
“What is my life about? Who am I? and What is God? If we are not asking these bigger questions, we tend to sleepwalk through life, skimming the surface, and acting and reacting from entrenched points of view and patterns of behaving.” Adyashanti in The Most Important Thing
Asking the bigger questions about life is all that matters. You could be an intellectual genius and still have no clue what you truly are or what’s really going on. It’s not about knowledge, it’s about essential wisdom.
The only thing that’s important is waking up, seeing Ultimate Reality clearly, and operating in human form from our true natural loving spirit. That’s it. The rest will take care of itself, because as it just so happens, it already is without any input from you and the way your ego thinks things should be.
Who am I really? Sit with that. Whatever answer the mind comes up with is false. Don’t let words inform you and add to an illusory identity. Let silence show you. It’ll burn all that is not true and reveal that which is the true One Self.
