Between These Two My Life Turns

“When I look within and see that I am nothing, that is wisdom. When I look without and see that I am everything, that is love. Between these two, my life turns.” Nisargadatta Maharaj

Silently breathe into these words and let them carry you all the way home.

Just Let It Be Amazing

“When we are contemplating the universe, we are the universe contemplating itself, and that may be the most wondrous and extraordinarily profound aspect of our whole life.” Adyashanti in The Most Important Thing

SoulBEarth Adyashanti moon moonlight reflections pond awaken awakening Truth When there are events like the Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse, the most extraordinary aspect of it is the way it can orient us back to the mystery of life, the awe and wonder of it all. It brings us back to question, What’s really going on here?

If you view the moon tonight, let the mystery of it all lead you into knowing that you really don’t know anything about the workings of the universe. No one does. And that’s perfectly okay. There is so much more going on than the mind could even comprehend. Just let it be what it is: amazing.

What ‘Being Still’ Means

“Being still is not an act of physical motionlessness or of quieting the mind. It is about being available to whatever is occurring in every moment.” Adyashanti in The Most Important Thing

SoulBEarth Adyashanti awaken awakening Truth tree pond winter nowhere better stillness silence Take the pressure off to “find time” or “make time” for being still or meditating. Don’t make it another obligation or something you think you “should” do. Being still is about noticing that stillness is always there in every moment. It is the ground of your being – who you truly are. You’re never separate from stillness and there’s nothing to find, nowhere to go, no one else to be.

That’s the central message in my little children’s book called Nowhere Better, which is now out in print. You can find it here. A reminder for us all that our true self is always and already present, whole, and complete.
